How are the award winners determined?
We treat this as the Academy Awards in the construction industry…we put a ‘call-out’ to our members (we have just over 200 member companies and anyone in the member companies can nominate – no limit). We then verify all nominees are in their correct categories then we open it up to our members for a vote.
What is the dress code?
There isn’t any ~ come with what you feel comfortable in!
What can I expect of the day?
- 3-5pm will be a social setting ~ mingling and talking with industry friends.
- When you arrive, you will go to the check-in table to get your name tag.
- There will be great food, great company, great fun!
- The last hour, we will introduce to you our scholarship winners and award our winners.
What type of food will be there?
The theme is ‘Around the World’, we will have hors d’oeuvres from various countries.
Will there be any refreshments?
Yes! We will have a cash bar serving beer, wine, seltzers and a few signature drinks. We will also have water & lemonade.
Can I just show up?
Not ideal. We ask you pre-register so we can plan accordingly. However, we won’t turn anyone away!
Are early bird discounts available?
Yes! Hurry and buy your tickets before April 30 so save $$$.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind about attending?
Yes! Make sure to do it before May 2 to get a full refund.
What happens if we have inclement weather?
No problem, this event is indoor/outdoor. If it’s raining, we will keep it indoors.
Where can I park?
There will be free ample parking at the venue.
Where will I get my ticket to the event?
You will not get a physical ticket. You will show up to the event, check-in and we will have a name tag ready for you.
Who can attend?
This event is open to everyone, including our family & kiddo’s.
How many can fit at a table?
Our event this year will be all ‘mingling’ with high top tables sprinkled throughout to set your plate. For the awards portion, it will be theater seating.
