Seth Hausman, VP, Head of Risk Innovation Consulting, Kraus-Anderson Insurance Agency

Seth leads Kraus-Anderson Insurance Agency’s risk consulting practice including all aspects of risk management with a focus on the build marketplace. He has extensive experience leading underwriting businesses, serving large and small contractors including evaluation of risk and understanding of risk mitigation strategies. In addition, Seth has led large enterprise process and technology transformation projects, leading to efficiency gains and operational improvements. He works as an extension of a client’s management team facilitating the many processes associated with operational risk management and quality decisions. He has served on the board of the Twin Cities chapter of the ACE Mentor Program for over ten years and holds a bachelor’s degree in biological science from Cornell University.

Martin Kappenman, Attorney

Martin represents employers in connection with the full range of employment and labor law issues. He has successfully litigated claims relating to non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, shareholder disputes, accommodation and leave requests, employment contracts, discrimination, harassment, reprisal and retaliation in state and federal courts and administrative agencies. He works with employers to avoid costly and time consuming litigation by providing counsel regarding OSHA compliance, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Minnesota Human Rights Act, drug testing, and other employment matters.

Ginie Klopp, VP of Benefits and HR Services, Kraus-Anderson Insurance Agency

Ginie leads Kraus-Anderson Insurance Agency’s Employee Benefits and Human Resources consulting businesses. She has a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices to enable employers to attract and retain talent. She has led the creation and implementation of benefit programs and human resource policies for many small and mid-sized contractors. She uses her experience to come up with creative solutions to help clients lead their organizations.  She is licensed in Life, Health, Property and Casualty Insurance. Ginie has earned her SHRM-SCP (Society of Human Resources Management – Senior Certified Professional) designation and holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental design, History, and Business from North Dakota State University.

Eric Nystedt, Business Insurance Consultant, Kraus-Anderson Insurance

Over the past 12 years, Eric has successfully navigated a variety of commercial and risk management positions. He continues to utilize his experience and knowledge from his time in underwriting and designing insurance programs to collaborate with business owners to develop risk management strategies. His primary focus is working in the Built environment with an emphasis on contractors, design firms, and workers compensation claim management. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from St. John’s University (MN).
